I'm working on some socks for my mom for Mother's Day ... same cable pattern. I'm using Knit picks yarn, Stroll. It is fingering weight in the Make Believe Hand-Painted colorway, and is washable.Knitting news?

I just finished the first two books in Nora Roberts' series, The Bridal Quartet - Vision in White & Bed of Roses. I've been listening to them in my car on audible, they are a very enjoyable read. I am currently reading Christine Trent's The Queen's Dollmaker. I found this book for free on my Kindle, and am really enjoying it. It takes place during the French Revolution. The main character, Claudette Laurent is a wonderful character. There is some romance and I've learned some new things about historical France.
